Hi, I'm Steve Netniss. I'm sure you figured that out already when you clicked on the web address. Anybody can have their own website these days, it only requires a little bit of technical experitise or friends with the know-how. So why do I have my own website? It's very simple actually, I love people, I love helping people, and I have a unique skillset that I want to share with others.
I would say that makes me unique but wait, there's more, I was once on the Price is Right show and I have a Master’s in Theology! Beat THAT.
I was born to Assyrian parents in Turlock, California. In 2003, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from California State University Stanislaus. In 2009, I received my Th.M. in Pastoral Ministry (Master of Theology) from Dallas Theological Seminary.
I teach Sunday school, administer the website and occasionally preach First Presbyterian Church of Turlock as well as other organizations.
I am a Lecturer at California State University Stanislaus in the College of Business Administration. I am a Technology Integrationalist at Bentley School.
Previous Employment: Database Administrator, Executive Desktop Support, Systems Analyst
Please Note: “The author’s thought is a work in progress, one that anticipates change, adaptation and growth of ideas expressed in public. A work in progress–that’s what my blog is. It’s more a testimony of what’s going on in my mind today than what I think should be thought by all people in all times and places. Sometimes the thoughts I post here go on to be my very belief, other times I make some assertions where I need to think through the doctrinal implications of my statements, or that just may need to be nuanced/worded more precisely.” – Rob Kashow
My blog is built on Wix.com.
Rachel Heimerman took most of my personal photos.
Shane Schnell handles all of my technical needs on this website.
Did I mention I wrote a book? It's pretty cool. It will be ground breaking to any community or individual that reads it. It will give you a whole new way of understanding the Bible and your own ethnicity.
My blog is about difficult questions related to God, life, the Bible and relationships.
